X-table mounts in the monoball®Fix lower channel of ARCA-SWISS Classic or flipLock® tripod heads and is compatible with monoball®Fix tripod heads from ARCA-SWISS.
Please note: X-table does not have a threaded socket on its base. Therefore, if you plan to use a tripod head from another brand, you will need to use the 8.5 cm extension bracket. X-table is pictured for reference with the Core 60 Leveler tripod head, which is not included.

The Arca-Swiss X-table is a versatile accessory designed to enhance both studio and location photography. Utilize it as a macro focusing rail or a positioning tool when shooting overhead flat-lay product shots, critical placement over copy work, or for architecture in tight spaces, over railings, etc.
The X-table provides micro-metric movements along two 20 cm (8”) rails, one for the X and one for the Y axes. It has two gear-driven function carriers, controlled by a self-locking gear-driven knob, which you can easily position and release. Additionally, a friction control ring inside the geared focus knob, allows you to set the geared movements' tension to the user's preference, or for extra safety when using the X-table tipped downwards.
Instructions for mounting X-table to a tripod head
X-table mounts directly into the lower channel of ARCA-SWISS tripod heads with Classic or flipLock® dual channel quick releases, or directly into any ARCA-SWISS tripod head with a monoball®Fix quick release.
Mounting to a tripod head from other brands
If your tripod head is not compatible with the 26mm monorail (monoball®Fix) profile, you'll need to use an extra accessory to mount the X-Table. The 8.5 cm Extension Bracket II (042108) is compatible with most "Arca-Swiss style" quick releases, and has a 38mm dovetail base that matches the specifications of ARCA-SWISS original Classic camera plates. The X-Table can mount quickly onto this connecting bracket, which has a lever-style quick-lock to secure the monorail in place. You can also quickly reposition the monorail within the bracket for coarse focusing or lens to subject distance modifications. This bracket has a 3/8-16 threaded mounting socket on it's base.
