PICO LENS BOARD SYSTEM

Compatible with the finest optics

Pico is compatible with medium format lenses including the majority of Rodenstock, Schneider, Phase One Blue and Silver ring lenses. The Pico system is also compatible with Mamiya 645, and manual aperture Hasselblad V or Pentax 645 lenses that are still in widespread use and available on the second-hand market.

For straightforward lens changes, a new B-mount bayonet located on the front standard employs a lens mount similar to those found on mirrorless cameras. Additionally, an R-adapter lens board allows for easy attachment of lenses in ARCA-SWISS R-mount.

ARCA-SWISS will continue to develop future lens boards to ensure compatibility with the widest possible range of lenses.

PICO SYSTEM LENSES

Two new lenses from ARCA-SWISS

The new ARCA 24 and ARCA 50 Tilt / Swing are ideal partners for the Pico system. Each is centered on the optical axis and can utilize 8.5° of tilt or swing, for perfect control of the plane of focus.

The ARCA 24 and ARCA 50 utilize a permanent B-mount that bayonets directly to the Pico view camera's front frame, eliminating the need for a separate lens board.

PICO COMPATABILITY WITH RODENSTOCK & SCHNEIDER LENSES

The sections below contain two reference tables that detail the compatibility of Rodenstock and Schneider large format lenses with the Pico view camera, using mirrorless cameras and digital backs for image capture.

When choosing a large format lens, make sure it has more clearance than the flange focal distance of your digital camera. Adequate clearance is crucial for enabling unrestricted view camera movements and achieving infinity focus, all while protecting the lens rear optical group and the camera's digital sensor from damage.
